Youth card

It is a personal and non-transferable document that certifies its holder as the beneficiary of the services it entails, and mainly consists in offering young people services and advantages to facilitate their mobility and intercommunication, as well as to enable their access to goods and services of a social, cultural, economic, educational, recreational, sports, consumption, transport and similar nature.

This program is being developed jointly with the rest of the autonomous communities and with more than 40 countries in the European environment that make up the Association of the European Youth Card (EYCA), an institution based in Brussels, which guarantees the reciprocity of benefits in the different affiliated countries.

As always, being the holder of the Youth Card implies benefiting from important advantages in different places in Europe that you can consult on these pages. Types of cards you can choose

Carnet Jove financial card: You must go to any branch of the indicated ones below, open an account that has no expenses and pay the fee of € 8.40. If you obtain it in any of the collaborating credit entities, you can operate with it as a debit card to collect money in the ATMs that allow you according to the conditions of your Card, and in some even in the Servired network and VISA, both in Spain and abroad. When you go to stores, you can pay for your purchases with your card, with the “Telepagament” system. In addition, you will have travel assistance insurance. Carnet Jove Classic card: Go to any of our offices, at the Sant Crist del Mar Youth Residence, or to those town councils with which the IVAJ has an agreement for the issue of the Youth Card, providing your original DNI, and pay the fee of € 8.40. Requirements for obtaining it
Have between 14 and 30 years old, both included.
Pay the fee, set for 2018 at € 8.40. It will be valid for two years from the date of its issuance.

Shelter card

The hostel card in the different modalities (adult, juvenile, family and group) allows you to stay in all the hostels of the International Youth Hostels Federation (IYHF), more than 4,200 hostels located in 60 countries around the world . To this Federation they belong the Spanish Network of Youth Hostels (REAJ) and the Network of Juvenile Facilities of the Generalitat Valenciana.

International student cards (ISIC), Professor (ITIC) and Young (IYTC) allow you to obtain discounts at museums, cultural events and other services around the world.

Europass

The objective is to offer activities that respond to the real needs of the young population of the territory, working according to the demands that come from the rest of services, facilities, entities … as well as the same young people.

Summer Camps: IVAJ offers every summer the possibility for young people from 12 to 17 years of enjoying Camps in which they promote life habits Healthy and educational leisure activities. They are places in educational and inclusive leisure activities that are carried out in hostels of the Valencian Community and other autonomous communities, to which all the groups can have access, in order to promote the participation and exchange of information, experiences, as well as to encourage the spaces for meeting and debate.
Youth camps: The IVAJ has two youth camps, one on the coast and another on the mountain. Youth camps are permanent facilities, with minimal common services, which can be used by all groups that want. In addition to the use made by several groups throughout the year, different activities are carried out in the Concerted Offer and Offer of the IVAJ. Among the objectives of the Youth Camps of the IVAJ is that of providing organizations, organizations, associations and other groups, outdoor facilities equipped with basic equipment and exclusively for stays with groups of children and young people because they carry out their activities.
Hostels: Youth hostels, as well as providing lodging and maintenance to lounges that, individually or in groups, use the services, are ideal places for to the development of a series of activities that can range from the practice of sports, to cultural, tourist or simply recreational purposes. European Volunteering It is a volunteer experience for young people aged between 17 and 30, a country different from one of them, consisting of collaborating in a social project that can deal with different topics, such as youth, the environment, culture, people with disability, elderly people, social inclusion, human rights, sport, culture or ethnic minorities, among others. What is a youth association?

From the moment that a group of young people decides to meet to carry out activities under the denominator of a common interest, an associative movement is born. Before starting any management in front of the Administration, it must be clear what you want to achieve, specific objectives, operational bases and how to carry them out. The right of association is recognized in article 22 of the Spanish Constitution, within the Title First, “Of fundamental rights and duties.” The creation of an association is determined by what is established in Organic Law 1/2002, of March 22, regulating Association Law, published in the BOE no. 73, of March 26, 2002. An association will be considered juvenile, when it is constituted in accordance with the provisions of Organic Law 1/2002 of March 22 and Royal Decree 397/1988, of April 22, which regulates the registration of youth associations, whose members have ages between 14 and 30 years, who are not subject to a specific legal regime and develop their activities within the territory of the Valencian Community.

How can I register as an association?

For the registration of a youth organization or association in the Census of Youth Associations and Entities Providing of Services to Youth, it is necessary to present, in the registers of the IVAJ, or in any other recognized by the Generalitat, the following instance accompanied by the following documents:

Photocopy of the resolution of registration of the entity in the competent Registry of Associations.
Photocopy of the Company’s Bylaws visas by the Association Registry.
Copy of the minutes of the Constitution of the entity, accompanied by the composition of the provisional governing bodies.
Certificate from the secretary of the entity accrediting the current composition of the Board of Directors.

Anorexia and bulimia

If you see that every day you are more pessimistic of your diet and lose weight; If you avoid eating, or eat and then vomit; If you do a lot of exercise to lose weight, you may have an anorexia or bulimia problem.

Anorexia and bulimia are characterized by an obsessive fear of gaining weight.
