In Pego you can enjoy multiple alternatives to leisure, our carnival, composed for three weekends (descent of the river Bullent, carnival and pineapple), faults, our Easter of Santa with its different brotherhoods, steps and processions, Moorish and Christian celebrations, the last weekend of June coinciding with the patron saint festivities in honor of the Stm. Ecce-Homo. Our gastronomy is mainly influenced by the Pego-Oliva Natural Park, with our rice dishes (the crust, paella, rice broth with beans and kale, eel with garlic and pepper, etc.). The visit In our park is obligatory, its animal diversity in the neighborhood of the most important environment of the Valencian Community and one of the most important in Spain The visitor will also be able to admire some of our historical monuments, such as the Santísimo Ecce-Homo Chapel, the patron saint of the town, the parish church of the Assumption, in which the reticle of the Virgin of Hope, of the 15th century, the double Venonica of the 15th century, the carving of the Providence Christ of the 17th century, the Ethnological Museum of Rice, the Painting Museum in which it collects the collection of prizes at the national painting contest “Vila de Pego “.
